2020 Week 5

The workouts are up! There are a nice variety of workouts this week, and I want to remind everyone that any and all workouts can be scaled based on your needs. If you are having trouble with things overhead, we have modifications. If you are having trouble with core engagment (resulting in lower back, shoulder, or hip discomfort), we have modifications. If you have are having trouble with your squat, we have modifications! Please just come in, let us know what’s up, and we’ll make sure you get a safe and tough workout!

With that said, there are many days with barbells this week. As you know, we like to mix it up as that’s what we’ve seen yields the best results. Some days or weeks we use more barbells and others more kettlebells or dumbbells. If you find yourself struggling with either the barbell or the dumbbells/kettlebells, come for class and let us know. We can always change up workouts to help you succeed, and if you ever want or need a little extra accessory work tailored to your needs, just let us know – we are always happy to help!
