2020 Week 3

This is the last week of CFB Bingo! If you have gotten any bingos, be sure to give us your card and we’ll give you raffle tickets for the drawing at Casino night! On that note, Casino night is THIS Saturday at CFB. If you haven’t RSVPed, please do so here. Friends and spouses welcome. We provide the hors d’oeuvres, please bring your own beverages!

In terms of our programming, you may have noticed we have just begun a new strength cycle. If you are interested in seeing what the cycle looks like, check out the link below. There are links to videos of Coach Yav demonstrating most of the movements – take a look and you can look for ways to improve your form. Over the next weeks, we’ll be posting some of the videos on our social media channels with different points of performance and ways you can continue to improve your movement patterns.

This cycle, we are focusing on developing a solid base. You will notice a lot of pulling in the main lifts, and we want you to keep the weights moderate while you use the higher volume to develop your muscular endurance. As the cycle progresses, the rep count will lower and we will work with you to increase your lifts. Have fun with it and if you have any questions, ask a coach!
