Here is some bio information about him:
What got you into CrossFit: I started CrossFit in 2015 because one of my old friends kept trying to convince me to try this thing called CrossFit. Little did I know it was going to take over my life three years later.
Coaching style: Mindset/vision based and Autocratic. I try to help people believe in themselves, and guide them in the direction to do so. I’m the head of programming at the gym, so I am constantly thinking of ways to help people improve their fitness and reach their goals from an overall perspective. I’ll joke around between sets and keep the energy light and fun, but when it’s time to start the clock, it’s time to stfu and work.
What is one thing you bring to your classes that makes them unique/special: I think I help people break through barriers they put up in their minds. For example, if someone walks in thinking they can’t do something, I can usually help them change their mindset to believe that they can. Sometimes the process takes time, but it’s something that I bring to every class and every person.
Favorite playlist/music: There’s three genres I like: Gangsta rap, country, and sad “in your feelings” type of music.
Fitness Goals/Accomplishments: My goal is to qualify for the CrossFit Games.
Work/Hobbies: I like naps, Netflix, playing with my dogs, eating pizza, cleaning my car, and I usually think about what workout I’m doing next in my free time.
Fun Facts: I’ll do just about any food challenge. Once I went to this place called cluck-u chicken and had to sign a waiver to eat the hottest wings on their menu. Also, when I was living in Montana, I caught a fish with a rock and I ate it live because I saw it on man vs. wild and I wanted to do it. I’ve also run from the cops in my car like 10 times. LOL
